Shuffle to Middle with Push Back Door

()

Coach has pucks somewhat tight to the net off to the side, in the bottom inside quarter of the face off circle. Goalie starts on post closest to pile
of pucks. Goalie pushes out to elbow, shuffles across to middle top of crease, and then t-pushes back to get set on coach for Play out the
rebound.
Sides may be alternated each rep, or one side done before switching to the other.
the t-push back can be alternated for a butterfly slide with the pucks brought in a little tighter to the well.

Key Points

  • Small shuffles, no bobbing
  • good push to get coach with proper rotation
  • good hard stop (or brakeif sliding) with no drift
